screwdriver with different bits, pliers, adjustable wrenches, socket set, vise grips, claw and rubber hammer, prybar/crowbar, pushbroom(dryvan), duct/electrical tape. whatever you can fit in a small to medium tool bag.

I get by with a small socket set bigger vice grips and one of those 8 piece multi bit flashlight screwdriver dodads.

almost forget to mention work gloves. extra glad hand seals, pens. get a block of wood incase you ever high hook the king pin, a small 4x4 will do the trick. step stool or ladder. save your grocery bags and use those as trash bags while you're out driving.

Oh if your pulling reefer get a load strap or two of your own. The one with etrack hooks. They work a metric #### ton better then load bars.
