The gladhand airhose pays for itself every time I use it. I cant add anything else but a small bolt cutter for seals.

My suggestion is something $$ can't buy... Common sense!

Duct tape, WD40 and a roll of baling wire. I have an electrical kit with crimper/stripper, some xtra wire and electrical tester, some shrink fit connectors and some regular and liquid electrical tape. Also, a 50' hose with glad hand on one end and quick disconnect fitting on the other. Have a long air chuck(like the shops use that you can air tire without having to hold in place) and some blow down fittings. You can buy one of these at a truckstop but are better off going to someplace like Harbor Frieght and getting a good quality rubber hose and get the fitting there as well. I had one of the truckstop hoses(plactic pvc hose) and was using it up north in winter-@10 degress. After laying on the ground for 10 minutes I went to roll the hose back up and it broke off into several little sections. Rubber hose is best. A basic assortment of tools in a small tool box.

Really love being hourly with a breakdown. Got paid for 3 hours on overtime waiting at a tire shop in Minot ND to replace one blown tire with my spare. Most I've ever been paid to listen to the radio.
