As frequencys go up the antennas get shorter and you can stack 1/2 wave ones for more gain At 2 meters 3 5/8 waves stacked as a base antenna is not uncommon ... CB because of size your limited to one 5/8 wave that is over 20 foot.
At Cb 3 5/8 waves stacked would be over 60 foot .....
Here is a 2 meter one with 3 5/8 waves stacked .... 16 foot tall
Top Load, Center Load and Bottom Load CB Antennas.

All that about longer antennas is true. But depending where you take your vehicle, a 2ft antenna is better than a broken 4ft antenna!
VA_Bowman Thanks this. -
AGREE ...
However very short antennas are not a good thingVA_Bowman Thanks this. -
To everyone who responded to my post, thanks so much for your help! I knew that the 24 might not have given me the furthest range but I had hoped by combining the two different styles, it might increase the capabilities. I think that Ill just go with the Wilson.

Uuh, yeah, you already made that point, and I agreed. Just pointing out that sometimes a short antenna is the only reasonable option. -
Agree .....
You can't put a 6 foot antenna in a 5 foot space ...
