is it leaking from a little plate with two screws holding it down?
-
Yea that's where it's coming from
-
that is your compressor unloader valve you need a new one or you can take out and try cleaning and re install to get you by maybe lube o rings with little lite grease what model is your comp? if it's same as mine i got part number at shop but won't get it to you till tomorrow night
-
If it is leaking from the little plate with the screws in it then that is the unloader valve. More than likely you have a broken o-ring in it and/or the unloader is coked up (burnt oil residue). Both are common problems on the ACERT motors.

Ok thanks guys well will try to get that fixed to them I just got this thing and it seems like it keeps adding up and adding up but will see what I can do u ain't going to be out here on this road with out putting money into them though!!
-
Yep, you need an unloader kit. I just bought one for a 2006 Acert C15 just a week ago from KW in Dallas for about $100. I was surprised it cost that much, but that KW for you...
Very easy to install. You can try cleaning your old one, but often times the o-ring breaks apart and the spring is often times worn out. -
I'm sure about bad unloader valve, but identify your compressor first!
Is it Wabco, Knott, Bendix, Holset???? Parts differ and prices too!!! -
Why on a bendix air comp on c15 this big line on top of comp keeps blow that line and fitting out which pulls threads out of head
-
There was a bulletin that addressed this issue....got rid of the steel line and replaced with a stainless/Teflon hose. See your local CAT dealer for parts.
Oxbow Thanks this.
