I am also having an issue with air coming out of the unloader cover. Air only comes out of it when its sending pressure to the tanks. I've had a few other air issues since which has led me to also replace the complete air drier assembly. Still have air fluttering out of the unloader cover when building pressure. Any ideas on what to try next? Motor is a C15 acert with a BA 921 compressor and AD-IS drier.

Unloader has failed....you can put an unloader kit in it or replace the compressor depending on age.

I am also getting a flutter out of the purge valve on the drier that increases under engine load. Is the air compressor intake allowing boost pressure to bypass into the air system when the tanks are full?

I was afraid of that. Seems like it’s hives me an obvious thing that needs to be replaced and then still does the same thing. It’s going to the shop in the morning so hopefully they will be able to shed a little light on it.
