Don’t get me started. When my wife and I moved into our condo in Fitchburg,Massachusetts the very day we moved in we ended up being under a tornado warning because of a storm cell that showed rotation over Gardner-9 miles to the west of us! Ink not even dry on the mortgage yet and already we have to worry about storm damage!!
That same day earlier a tornado had struck Springfield-the tornado had touched down west of the Connecticut River and then started churning its way east!

I was lakeside at the Petro in OKC Saturday afternoon and night riding out (hiding under my bed) the tornadoes there.
I guess there were a dozen or so touchdowns and a lot of destruction. Sadly a few lost their lives along with a baby.

My mother lives in the Millpond subdivision right off of Randall Road. When the 96 tornado touched down,had it stayed on the ground her home would’ve been in the direct path!! Luckily at that time my mother was out of town on vacation (I had dropped her off at the airport the very day before) but I was certainly there!
