    I am a recent graduate. Researched MANY companies. Applied at 20 or so. Am down to about 5 or 6;
    TransportAmerica, Trans-Am, Roehl, Watkins-Shepard, Werner. Also...Maverick, wants an accident to be 1 yr.(10/24!) But they said ok.
    Have been "pre-hired" or "pre-approved" by all 5.
    I pretty much x'd on Werner and W-S. But you never know.
    The other's seem to be very good companies though.
    All offer decent training, pay, and benefits. But I just can't decide.
    Roehl can only give me the 7/4-7/3 deal to start considering my location and I have to drive to and from the yard every 7 days after going otr.(1-1/2 hrs.)
    Trans-Am looks like a great choice. Can't find any real bad posts about them. Anywhere!
    Transport America I haven't found too much bad either.
    So it's going to be 1 of these 3. But which one???
    Any comments or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!
    Thanks.

    transport america but I'm not to sure about nj.

    seemed the bigger fortune 500 companies john deere, home depot ect were all chicago and west. every time I got to the east coast it was hopscotching all over heck to try and get back into a longer run lane.

    course maybe from nj they hopscotch ya around at the first of the week and then give ya a long one home???

    good company, on par with roehl... safe equipment... decent pay....

    I would also say Transport America, that is who I went with and they have a pretty good training program, I could have done with out going to Scottsburg, Indiana, They got a couple of miserable people there, but the rest of the company is pretty good. I get decent miles, and for the most part get home when I ask for it. Good Luck with your decision, it will be a tough one.
