    when did they start up..???

    were they "invented" due to the Kevin Costner movie, "The Postman".........??

    I hate it when paid inspectors don't know the regulations, and refuse to pass a truck because of an imaginary rule.

    And heavens forbid you ask them to show you the regulation. It quickly gets changed to "company policy", and they can never show that either,

    What really got me was the jack wagon who stopped inspecting when the chicken lights didn't work. I yelled at him "do you think DOT won't check the brakes because some lights that aren't required don't work? I'm paying you, do your darn job!"

    Tow company should pay for it.

    I had one break something on my company truck and Kenworth just sent that portion of the bill to the local tow company.
