Town considering building “trucker’s village”

Yes I realize that. Watford City, ND has a truck enforcement division. I’ve been stopped by their Barney Fife a couple times.

 

Lots of places with trucker villages in the US there called Pilot Flying - J, TA, Petro, and Loves. But the concept is good perhaps build a few in the busy areas where lots of trucks are forced to park on the side of the road to catch a break due to the official rest areas already filled up. A project similar to the Eisenhower freeway system would be required to target areas that would be good to set up these kind of rest stops this should of been started many years ago before all the congestion started.
