    The more I look into this supposed story, the more I think it is complete BS. I can't find anything on the internet besides this guy's video about it, or people responding to the video. If this actually happened it would be on the front page of Freightwaves.

    I've commented on this a few times over the years, but it's 100% true. The amount of times I get a call on a "desirable" load, and I have people offering to take it for a significantly lesser rate than I've booked for is sky high.

    The same is true with RFPs. Most of them are "input your proposed rate." Service levels never factor into the bid. It's assumed you're going to deliver on it.
