TQL insurance claim WTF

So I got word from my insurance today that due to my pictures the customer and TQL decided it was damaged by someone internally and they would be not pursuing a claim!
So my insurance is gonna provide me with documentation stating the claim was denied/dropped, nothing was paid and the driver was not at fault.
Really glad I take pictures!

So I normally don’t do anything for TQL however I needed a back haul and there they were.
Anyway I moved a trackhoe for them last Monday from one H&E to another, I get there to deliver, guy signed my paperwork told me where to put it, I unloaded it, tracked it up the hill and parked it between a dumpster and another piece of equipment (only spot open) it was tight but it fit. Took my pics and rolled out.

Fast forward till today and I get an email from my insurance stating TQL has made a claim about a damaged trackhoe and a torn up fence. So after reviewing the pictures they have it’s evident someone else moved it after I left and clipped the dumpster sending it into the fence. Luckily I have my photos showing where and how I left it. So I gave the insurance company my statement and emailed over my photos and he said they’ll likely deny the claim, unfortunately it will still show as a claim against me but nothing paid out. Granted I’m still waiting to get confirmation they are gonna deny the claim.

Anyone with advice on this, will it affect my insurance renewal etc?
My insurance renews end of the month and I was planning to start shopping around, but now I have this.

Insurance use anything they can to bump up their rates.Find some agents now that can shop around for you in case they do raise your premium.

Fortunately it doesn’t affect it, got my new quote today as it renews end of the month and it’s the same as last year. However I’m still gonna shop around a bit.
