Actually, they could file charges to the OP.
He doesn't have any paperwork for his last drop.
So if they are really the evil he like to think they are, don't they claim those pallets from him?
And why didn't he just drive back the 30 min to the second place and pick up the pallets which were unloaded by mistake?
That would have saved more money then he lost now.
And why ,he has said it wasn't ther first time they screwed up,did he see an empty trailer when closing the doors?
He knows they make misstakes and he still trusts them without checking anything?
Sorry OP but you messed up in a BIG way.
You now have 2 choices.
1°you could keep blaming everybody else and i garantee you that you will screw up again in the future.
2°Learn from this and change your ways.

I look at it this way. Receiver at #2 made a mistake. OP made a mistake [ actually several ]. They all thought the problem was corrected to everyone's satisfaction, but you never know.
Now if the broker received their payment, they should pay the OP, regardless of paperwork screw-up. These people who work in offices, and handle the same paperwork on a daily basis from the same customers, can usually find a way around any paperwork problem when it comes to getting their money from a shipper, so it is possible TQL received payment. If so, pay the trucker.
If the receiver just flat refuses to OK payment, which is possible, there is somebody, somewhere, sitting at some big, fancy desk, who can OK the bill for payment. There seems to be no dispute the freight was delivered. Just takes finding that desk.
Ask TQL if they were paid.If so, they have will have no reason to keep your money, if it goes to small claims court. If not, tell them you are going to start calling around to find that desk who can pay you. They do not want you pestering their clients, so will probably try to find that desk themselves.Flightline and volvodriver01 Thank this. -

The third drop was signed for and the forth a letter was written stating the the post office has their freight, admitting their mistake but did not actually receive the freight at the final specified location due to the THEIR MISTAKE ! If you think TQL is being fair and ethical, you need a reality check.Click to expand...Click to expand...

Complacency and laziness are 2 of a truckers worse enemies. There are high prices to pay for either.

Sounds like to me that you need to listen to what is being said to you and use this as a learning experience. Good luck sir...Click to expand...
really took the time to read the original post. The original post clearly states that the driver after realizing his mistake took
every action to correct it. The post office personal said they were going to handle it and driver states he cleared it with tql, so it should've
been a done deal then! Otherwise they could have had driver go back and pick shipments up and continue as it was planned.
A couple things could've been done different. and may have had a different outcome.
1 should've checked load at moving off dock
2 went back and got stuff and done job himself
3 got a confirmation of some tangible sort from tql that the change of plans were OK with them.
4 never haul for tql as they are a turd company
5 sign guys name from last stop and put letters rtsh beside it (refuses to sign here}
6 Or my personal favorite would be to sue tql, P/O and any other broker or FF attached to load.( this way would loosen wallet quicker) piss on a bond,
why do you think tql's days to pay were so long on dat board? One guy they screwed with sued the piss out of them.Click to expand...
