Actually, they could file charges to the OP.
He doesn't have any paperwork for his last drop.
So if they are really the evil he like to think they are, don't they claim those pallets from him?

And why didn't he just drive back the 30 min to the second place and pick up the pallets which were unloaded by mistake?
That would have saved more money then he lost now.

And why ,he has said it wasn't ther first time they screwed up,did he see an empty trailer when closing the doors?
He knows they make misstakes and he still trusts them without checking anything?:biggrin_25521:

Sorry OP but you messed up in a BIG way.:yes2557:

    You now have 2 choices.
1°you could keep blaming everybody else and i garantee you that you will screw up again in the future.

2°Learn from this and change your ways.

I look at it this way. Receiver at #2 made a mistake. OP made a mistake [ actually several ]. They all thought the problem was corrected to everyone's satisfaction, but you never know.
Now if the broker received their payment, they should pay the OP, regardless of paperwork screw-up. These people who work in offices, and handle the same paperwork on a daily basis from the same customers, can usually find a way around any paperwork problem when it comes to getting their money from a shipper, so it is possible TQL received payment. If so, pay the trucker.
If the receiver just flat refuses to OK payment, which is possible, there is somebody, somewhere, sitting at some big, fancy desk, who can OK the bill for payment. There seems to be no dispute the freight was delivered. Just takes finding that desk.
Ask TQL if they were paid.If so, they have will have no reason to keep your money, if it goes to small claims court. If not, tell them you are going to start calling around to find that desk who can pay you. They do not want you pestering their clients, so will probably try to find that desk themselves.

Complacency and laziness are 2 of a truckers worse enemies. There are high prices to pay for either.
