TQL - wants me to dead head 200 miles for free

You could always accept their miles, which could possibly be a Little Short!!!

 

If I own the load by signing for it, I don't blame anyone but myself if it does not arrive intact. As a owner I make sure my loads are correctly packaged-loaded- secured & arrive without damage. That is what they pay me for versus your avg steering wheel holder.
I know squat about TQL, but I know personal responsibility. With your experience I am surprised by how off point your example is. If your going to #### a broker, this example has no legitimacy IMO in doing so.

We do want to be a company that all quality carriers who run for us are proud to be a part of, but with over 4,000 employees and 30,000 loads moved per week we are not going to be perfect. BUT we try to always make things right, if things don’t go perfect.

You might reduce these kinds of occurrences if you add that info the the phone menu before anything else.

I never thought I would say this....and I never intended it....but man blocking that main number is heaven. It is not that they don't meet my rates or that they don't pay fast....they do both! But man you can easily get 30 calls a day from TQL and 90% is for stuff you are not capable of and never ever stated anywhere at anytime that you were capable. They still call from other numbers but usually that seems like a "senior" broker who knows exactly what he is looking for.

 

Well, I don't buy it for a dollar. Gonna need some proof here, yo.
