Thank you all for communicating with me on this forum. I'm not sure what happened in any of these instances. Each transaction is so different and involves many variables and individual negotiations. If anyone changes their mind and wants to send me specific information on a load you feel may have been questionably handled, please message me. The more information I have, the better equipped I will be to assist you now and moving forward.

They will never change. This "PR lady" isn't going to do anything. It's a business practice that they do on purpose because they don't care about taking care of the carrier and creating long lasting relationships. Hey PR lady, here is something that you should be able to take care: Make it a policy that any posted load must be the actual origin & destination. Before you say the reason they do that is because someone might not know that particular city, well they are obviously on a computer if they really don't know but I'm sure they do. It's their job to know these things as dispatchers. The problem is TQL thinks all dispatchers/drivers are morons. They don't think we know where surrounding cities are nor do they supply the carrier with pu & del info which is just a waste of time. My company doesn't haul for TQL but if they did I would hate to "call in" for dispatch. All they want to do is get your number & harass you. Just give the info to the carrier and let them do their job. It's all shady if you ask me. If the carrier asks TQL for their customers' number the request is denied yet the carrier has to give their driver's number. Another reason why TQL will never have relationships that last.

Well long story short the deal was made for $800, I think they called me back, but can't remember everything. I can remember this though, I walked into the truck stop minuets later to use the bathroom and was waiting on the confirmation only to get a phone call back saying "that load was canceled"
I don't know if they found someone cheaper or what, but that has happened before and its like your not really sure if you got a sure thing with TQL when ever you talk to them. Kind of flaky, or something falls through.Cowmobile Thanks this. -
Nothing is a for sure deal with TQL until load is picked up, until then cross your fingers. Very sad thats how many perceive them but thats what happens when you're dealing with shady people. What do you think about this "PR Lady"?

You should only speak for yourself. I'm an approved carrier with TQL and for the most part I have a great relationship with them. The ones that come in way low with no room I say thanks have a nice day. They already have your MC so don't be a jerk and they won't post you as a problem in the system. TQL is doing a give away sweepstakes so they must be doing something right. Dealing with them is a negotiation if you don't like it lease to a company and you won't have to "haggle"

This board was started by a owner operator where other drivers could have a safe place to report bad trucking companies and others to stay away from.
TQL has issues, major issues.BigBadBill, misterG and DThompsonNGI Thank this. -
I find it funny that the only way it seems for some to have a place to "report " issues. is by degrading wichever company they are talking about. Whateverhappened to stating the issues in a respectable way to enhance the "discussion" rather than throwing the whole company under the bus. Isn't that what we complain about with FMCSA? I'm sure TQL has bad brokers, we have bad drivers so when the TQL lady posts is she less than you when you get thrown into the bad driver category? Just asking
