Had ta replace left drive tire inner wheel seal, go down the road and abs light comes on. Call ta and they told me to go the petro in little rock. The mechanic looks at answer the seal is leaking. he took the bearing nutt off with his hand. And said it wasn't installed right he shouldn't of been able to take the nutt off with his hand and ABS light probably came on from the bearing slapping and in and out. After reinstalling it I go for tedt drive and hear sound like the ABS module clicking then the code comes back on and sound goes away. He scanned for codes, 1 was for left front speed sensor drop out. 2nd I think said abs excessive slippage. Cant remember the 3rd one. And I asked petro if they will cover that. They said all they did was seal thats all they going to cover and asked him if ta will he said no. What should I do guys please help

Have petro make sure that wheel sensor is pushed in close enough to the exciter ring on hub first. Thats part of the job they should have checked that after putting the seal in.

sounds like a nightmare. I would ask them for a print off of the codes and a screen flash print of your ecm showing the codes with time and date and counts. I would also call the TA and tell them that the bearing nuts was loose and now you have an abs light and code and that you didnt have this prior to them replacing the leaky wheel seal. If they say they will not do anything than ask for the claims number and customer service number for corprate....I will tell you it is going to be a pain in the neck to get them to fix their #### up....the ta in VA at 77 and 81 screwed up on my truck when they fixed my ac. the changed the compressor and all and filled it up but didnt put oil in the system and ate up the pump sitting in their bay and said they where not covering it that i need to contact the parts manufactor......took a month or two but i got it taken care off...
