Tractor & Tanker reweigh steer axle question

    Been doing that for over 20 years. As I pull up to the scales jam the brakes slightly and get the product sloshing.
    Usually get a green light.

    The height of the fifth wheel plate will also make a difference.

    Dang it, home doing a restart and you got me worried about driveline angles and issues. I did have a wheel seal blow out last month on the front driver axle, but I chalked it up to 400K miles.

    The reason I hiked the air ride is because it's a 233" wheelbase Freightliner

    in my experience if its way out of wack and unhappy it will let you know. Driveline will growl and vibrate, usually while coasting or light power

    I'm not getting those when I coast without powering the driveline. But there is something in my owners manual about measuring shackle height to the bottom of the air ride, so I'll check that. Thank you
