Probably the ones parking on the shoulder are the same ones who park at the cat scale in the fire lane or parks in a place where there no lines when there are plenty of open spots to back in to. Most of time it's laziness not wanting to back a truck.

I'm just now shutting down near Indianapolis. It's like 330 am. No parking available for the last 150 miles that I saw. Sitting on an off ramp looking at google satellite trying to find something. Probably going to have to just wait til morning when the Loves has parking. I hate sitting here on the on ramp but not sure what else to do.

When with my trainer we would finish last pick up then roll through the night to the next pick up, park and nap somewhere close until it's time. If we nap then roll, sometimes late. Sometimes there's no parking left after our last pick up so we gotta drive. Thought about looking for a strip mall and park in the back, but I never know if its OK.

Your trainer was an idiot. Parking on ramps and at strip malls is never acceptable.

That's why you book Reserved Parking early. Could not have been a surprise you were going to need to shut down late night. You should be reimbursed but if not that would have been $12 well spent.

I just got there faster than I thought I would. Hour and a half later, got it parked. Just turtles around the corner to the Loves.

I'm not against reseving a spot, I just dont ever know if I will need it or not. Accidents, construction delays, weather. I left early like a good driver, but didn't work out perfect. I guess leaving early is bad trip planning, or can be.

My pick ups are usually behind strip malls, seems acceptable to me, at least if I have business there.
