    I might be wrong, but isn't there supposed to be a minimum height for power/telephone cables stretched across a roadway? I seem to remember hearing about something like that but can't remember the details.

    The cable repair tech that fixed my internet and cable a few weeks ago said minimum height is something like 16-17 feet.

    I don't know what it is but around here they are at least that. Heck the drop line that goes across my driveway (live in the country), is high enough a couple of years ago, one of the farmers hauled in a Cat D8 on a flatbed, not a lowboy, cleared it fine.
