    I had a 2003 Peterbilt 379 w/Cat 18 SPD. 70" sleeper. 2 150 gallon fuel tanks. Full tanks, tire chains, some tools, and me.
    21,000 lbs. To help avoid weight problems I usually didn't fill the tanks. Avoided going over half full. Half full tanks: 20k lbs.
    I hauled some short loads. Some heavy , some not. Empty Van's can vary in weight. I could haul 45k at half fuel.
