You can't drink the water in SoCal either.

I guess SoCal needs to be part of Mexico since it has the same principles.

I know this is many years later but I’m looking for a truck(automatic due to a bum leg) and want to know the best specs for hauling logs and construction equipment. I keep getting conflicting advice. Any advice? Anyone want to sell a truck?

Heavy spec. 16k to 20k steer axle, 46k rears, full lockups, 18 speed, 475 hp or better. 3.73 to 4.10 rear. Would stay away from a double frame. Just a single heavy rail.

How I'd spec it out anyways.

    NCTru919 Thanks this.

That sounds good to me. What about the automatic part?

You can get 13 or 18 speed automatics, or an Allison

kw or western star are about the only logger options for a reason,

    NCTru919 and AModelCat Thank this.
