If you have a GPS, take a picture of your moving average and post that. Your moving average speed is then multiplied by number of hours driven to get the product of miles driven. Your 65 X 11 math will not work unless your truck blast out the pickle park, instantly accelerating to your top speed and staying there for 11 total hours with no account for any decel at all. In 11 hours of nonstop trucking it is next to impossible to avoid 2 or more major cities at which time your truck obviously ##### wings and glides right over everyone.

I'd say it depends on the mood of the trooper and the attitude of the driver. Same as then, no? :)

Yes, those were pics of my qualcomm screen taken with my cell phone then cropped for size. I figured it was easy enough to tell what screens were being shown based on the formatting, but I admit I wasn't considering the possibility that readers may not be familiar with qualcomm itself. Something I occasionally take for granted.

Roger that, the midwest is good territory for maximizing mileage. Not too many things to distract a driver unless of course they're lured in by the casinos.

    Class act, OHB. Much respect.

I've said from the get that I'm in a 68 mph truck. It's common knowledge that JCT trucks are governed at 68 except for the old-timers that are grandfathered in at 72, and I'm not going to visit the Diesel Doctor just to have it discovered in 3 months or less during the standard quarterly inspection where they make sure we're adhering to the terms of the contract. It'd be stupid to pay a third-party to be fired (essentially).

The point remains the same that 755 miles is more than possible for a truck that drives 3 mph less if I can go 70 miles farther (with an hour more of drive time that I could have used, no less).

    (Coming off a mid-trip 34 hr reset at 5am, because that's how I roll.)

I haven't hit reset on this unit for months, I have no idea what triggers it because it's a part of the GPS I really don't pay attention to.

If you want to attend & see a fight, go to the fights, this is not a fighting place, & because opinions different, no fight is needed, that's kid stuff, & childish thinking.

So your average moving speed is 61 mph. Thats really good. Your boss must keep you on the big road all the time. My moving average is right now 58 after 90,000 miles which I consider also good. I run 2 GPS which the extra I reset once a year to record my miles for the year and for quick reference and use it as a speed o meter as it is more accurate than the truck. I usually have 1 or 2 days a week I never see the interstate.
