Its been snowing near Dover DE all day, snow and ice are under the truck and trailer.
I backed into the dock, got unloaded, but as i am about to leave, the trailer air tank is leaking out air and locked in place
its the large circular valve (the opening is about the size of a quarter)
anything i can do to get it going? wait till spring?

it is PREV valve ore combined trailer valve.
it leaks air if damaged, ore bad spring brake chamber. Diafragm is bad and air leaks
First of all, post the valve part #. I can tell you what tibes to collapce ore separate to find the problem25(2)+2 Thanks this. -
Probably frozen up. Try to give it a few smacks with a hammer, don't break it.
-
Hold a lit fusee under it, to thaw it out. Just don't hold it so close that you melt the valve.

If may be your trailer parking valve......water condenses and freezes and if there is too much in there it pushes out that valve/grommet type thing on the bottom of you valve. If there is 4 or so lines where that valve is leaking from the bottom then its your trailer parking valve....I had to have road service come out and replace mine for about 24O$

PREV - Parking Release and Emergensy Valve... yep, its price about 200 Euro here, so $240 is a usual price
anyway any air problem must be started with air system components identification, becouse Wabco, Knorr, bendix, Haldex and other make air components..... -
thanks guys
seems like no only did the check valve freeze on the secondary, but also the front tank froze too
it had to be clamped off and towed, mechanic thinks either it was frozen or its shot, i am taking the weekend off till monday
