trailer brakes locking up/ hopping

Hello there, I’m having the same issue Wabash 2011 dry van, after replacing brake shoes and drums trailer is all hopping jumping and barely brakes. did you ever figure it out what was wrong ?

 

I’m having the same trailer brake issue. I’m thinking foot valve on tractor also

 

I would go with a less aggressive shoe. I’ve had this problem. Seems to be working fine now.

 

You could try a less aggressive brake lining. I’ve ran into this problem before.
