What do you plan on hauling? Are you looking to do Full loads or LTL? Do you plan on using cars for "fillers"?
Much Success!

40 footer anything less and you'll have trouble getting loaded. dovetail won't load cars as the back end drags due to angle.
If you want to fool with cars get a wedge or a ez loader. LTL freight isn't worth the bother in most cases get a good paying load going out and bounce back empty
if need be. -
well i went with the big tex 40ft 22gn. i dont want to haul to heavy with a 1 ton, so i believe
it should do the job. -

I bought a Big-Tex 35+5 with mega ramps. With the ramps folded up I have 40ft of deck space. Being versatile in this industry is key. Being able to load a couple sprinter vans,SUV's or just a couple of cars so that you don't return empty is key. Something else I did was purchase a 5th Wheel hitch. I haven't pulled a camper yet, but did just take a call on one yesterday to take to Cumberland Kentucky. Pick what best suits your needs, but also keep in mind to think about other money making opportunities that are out there as well. Good luck to you!
