If it's MY trailer, it won't have an issue with pins. If it's a company trailer, smack 'em wit a BFH and git down the road. Ain't nobody got time to wait for road squad.

Then whine and carry on about drivers being classified as unskilled labor and paid accordingly.

Meh. You're not trying to drive the pins by brute force, you're just trying to rattle them enough they don't hang on the grooves.

Your company should pay you to sit and wait while they are fixing their trailer so what's the big deal but that's company drivers mentality it ant mine so #### them

Ive tapped pins with a hammer before... If it requires more than a tap I get a wood block to put on the face of the pin then beat the block.

As far as pins not wanting to lock back into transport position a little WD40 has always worked wonders for me.

Never use your driveline to slide your trailer , use the weight of truck , ive seen drivers smoke there clutch and twist there drive shafts off.
Were do they learn this nonsense , if you pull a trailer full time when your empty unlock the pins and slide it back and forth to knock the rust off the rails before you load simple and free , carry a can of WD works wonders.
