When backing on to the ramps at a receiver today I seen that one of my tires is off the ground and hanging when it should be on the ground, even empty. Does anyone have a clue what this could be.

It's probably because where you backed in the way that the truck and trailer sits it's not exactly level and the front wheel will raise up under those conditions.

Did you dump the suspension after setting the brakes?

Look and see what's binding it up? Just watch where you place yourself, line of fire and all that.

That’s a good way to ruin an air bag, especially the one that is on the ground. Those ramps are the problem. Should be long enough to put both axles on them. I don’t know why ones on the ground and one isn’t. Maybe the anti walk if equipped on rear axle isn’t catching on one side. Set the brakes, and look at the back of rear axle. See if the arms are working, and not broken. If going there often, I think I’d bring a couple short 2x6 blocks for the front axles tired to sit on.
