:biggrin_25516:Hello Drivers: Planning on renting a 48' or 53' trailer on the web from sites such as Ryder or De Carrol's? well be in for a surprise. It seems that these sites are set up to have you believe that you are actually making a reservation for a location of your choice, but in order to reserve a trailer you have to give them 24 hours notice. When you call to confirm your pick up or in my case a person calls you in a clueless tone to ask you "did you make this reservation on the web or something? cause we don't have any trailers here to rent!. Something is ######### up. It's the high season don't you know, and they don't want to rent, they want to drag you into a lease. This way the don't have to deal with weekly rentals.

The one week Rate w/o mileage & Insurance at De carrol's for a 53' is $175.00. Rip off!

Ryder is $130.00 a week or $26.00 a day with an internet discount of 25%.
    0.03 a mile, Aprox. $13.00 a day for Insurance.

    What a Joke.

No one is holding a gun to your head to rent from them. Use your "Google Machine" and source one from someone else.
