    Biggest problem with the rail cans, is the brakes were never good enough to hold the axles anyways. EVERYBODY used the johnny bar when hauling rail cans. In the 5 years I did that, I never put brakes on my tractors.

    Dish soap painted on the rails with a foam brush. It washes off in a good rain storm so attracted dirt is not a problem.
