Trailer tires flat but are not?

    Gotta be more specific especially dealing with us truckers. It sounds real freaky when you discuss nuts and rims together, lol.

    I have a meritor air inflate system on my trailer.
    With the original hoses in place, I would just disconnect the hose from the connecting Tee coming from the axle end, to check the air pressure. Using air gauge.
    I have replaced those hoses with new ones. These have a valve at the end of the hose in addition to the hose end, before the Tee connection. I don't have to disconnect the hoses anymore to check air pressure.
    Just remove the valve cap, like the ones on the valve stem.[​IMG]

    I weld nuts to rims all the time. It’s something I take pride in. And don’t think it’s easy. The rhythm and movements made during the welding.... process is of great import. You can’t have the rim slipping away from the nuts. The rim is very unforgiving and you may not get a second chance at it.
