Train crashes in Texas with 18-wheeler truck

I can hear the jokes now. How many Aggies does it take to derail a freight train?

 

How hard do you have to be fooling with the phone to derail a train?

I like how the pick up in the video found the reverse gear after that fireball.

It should the other way around: truck failed to yield to train. Trains have right of way, every time.

 

If the driver is named Casey Jones, I suggest a drug test should be done.

Drove past that this morning at about 7 am on hwy 36. I couldn't really see what the cause of the fire andsmoke was. Now I know. Thanks!

 

Human ignorance, seems like mega companies may need to do some better training.

 

Well, at least the truck driver swerved to avoid the vehicle stopped at the crossing arms. Empty flatbed probably going for another load. Haven't seen it mentioned in what direction he was headed. Using FM 2095 as a short cut on US 190.
