The blades are also considered hazardous waste. They can't be recycled, need to be replaced every few years, and they are making huge landfills just for the blade in certain northern plain states.

California only puts them in areas where the locals can't afford to fight their installation. You don't see them near the coast where the wealthy elites live. They want the power, but they don't want them to mess up their views.

There's one in Texas between Dalhart and Junction on 83. Looks like they cut them in half with a giant sawzall and stack them like cordwood.

Well, Texas, Iowa, etc are nice and open. See them mostly in the Midwest and west.

I looked on some of the channels that had it on YouTube and can’t find it anywhere. Lawyers probably got it removed everywhere.

the typical life span of a wind farm is around 30 years and generally they need to be re- bladed and/or powered at the 15-20 year mark.

The technology get bigger and more efficient every year - so in some cases they are re-done early. Cost per hour of the power produced is very competitive to other forms at this point.

the blades are not hazardous but are currently not valued for recycling and are buried in land fills. However, there are a number of new uses for the recycled blades on the near horizon.

Drive them into the ground thirty feet standing straight up, and could make a helluva border wall.

Very competitive? Do you have any numbers on that? I never see them moving that efficienly, plus they ruin the landscape. I always get an eerie feeling when I see them, as well as teslas. It's like seeing a glimpse of a lifeless future where us humans aren't around that much.

I've also heard they kill a lot of birds and do some other damage. There is a lot of nefarious ways to these whole "green" agenda..

Do you have anything that’s says they aren’t competitive? There are lots of studies showing the all in cost per megawatt/produced supporting the competitiveness.
Attached are relevant screen shots in an article published in Forbes addressing just this subject.

Besides, I make my living in the wind energy sector - so I could care less what anyone informed or not thinks about it.

and it only your opinion on whether they ruin the landscape…

you do know that all the pad sites are leased from the property owners - so it pretty much is their land to do as they see fit.

as for the birds - lots of birds die from all kinds of things - like being hit by trucks going down the road.
