Trainers at Swift

We were told to be packed and ready to head out after class on the 3rd day of orientation, only 1 left the same day, as the rest of us left the day after. If you are going FB then I hear, from MANY friends who went FB, your wait will be much longer, minimum 2-3 weeks.. Then again, this was Phx, AZ..

 

I would plan on leaving the last day or day after. We had one that was in my orientation that also was told this by the recruiter and the people at the terminal while they did let him go didn't seem to happy about it. Remember recruiters are salespeople.

 

After orientaion, last day of.. you get your drivers code.. After that let your DM know you need a few days off before hitting a mentors truck, shouldnt be an issue, as my good friend took a week off and jump right in..
Shorts, I woulnt think so, as orientation is pretty much a 3-day job interview. I wouldnt imagin you would wear shorts to a job interview..?

I'm sure after your mentoring hours are up, you could get a ride back to the terminal to pick up your car. Just last week we picked up a guy and took him to Cali. As long as you communicate with your DM Im sure he/she will work out a ride back or to..

I waited weeks but that was near Christmas. Most get out the same week.

 

Make sure you get the hotel room even if your not "staying" in it. Since Swift is paying for that room, who do you think gets mentored up first?

 

If you request an non smoker it can take longer.
