    Iam looking for training in dallas, i really pefer going out to the oil field as a driver, or a company thats in dallas that i could go too just start out for a year. I heard theres alot of companies that just want nothing by money.. But i heared schneider, and con-ways are good comapnies go too... anybody that live in dallas area or texas, would be good help?

    I don't live in Dallas, but I have talked to Stevens Transport in your area (they are not oilfield) but they do have a good training program.

    That is who I am going with here in Houston though.

    Halliburton has a yard just south of you. They hire with no license and put you through their own cdl school. You'll probably have to be very persistent with them but if you have a clean record they might give you a shot.
