I usually run at 58, will "open it up" to 62 when time is short, my little columbia will get around 7.5 mpg with 40k in the box.

I love driving the truck, but get a bit lonely out here at times, and trying to strike up conversation at the truck stops is kinda pointless, it's always the same conversation it seems like " hey prime why do you guys drive so slow" or "driving a truck was so much better back in the day".

Another week gone, all total 3042 miles paid, that included 187 miles that was carried forward from a load that had to be repowered off me when I lost the tranny in the other truck. Take home pay was a little over 1100.00 after taxes. Pretty good week.

Not to bad for a company driver. Am home now and have been since Monday night, will be coming out Friday (Tomorrow) or early saturday, going to be interesting to see where they come up with a load from as I live just outside of Reno, NV. Donner (I-80) is catching the weather right now and then wind is supposed to kick in tonight, so I hope I don't have to go over into Cali mty. OH Well such is life.
Be safe out there you all

That was for one week, I have been out since the 11th of Feb, I go home about every 3-4 weeks. I average around 2300 miles per week. FM gets me home when I ask so I am not complaining one bit:biggrin_255:
