deckX has a lot of lease ops in that division as does transX.

deckX got a lot bigger when they bought out Big Horn out of Edmonton and Calgary at least a couple of years ago now.

OK boys this is what I have come up with.
If you are a company driver you will make 38 to 48 cents a mile working for whatever company. Now these guys will give you a truck that you can lease...It is a "wet lease" that means all repairs on the truck from washer fluid to tires are all paid for. It's like a paclease or penske rental.so when everything is paid for including insurance fuel etc..you are left with aprox 75cents/mile. 75 cents - truck payment ($3000)) Sure If you are an owner op with your own truck you could make more money... but I can't get financed so I figure i might as well make more then a company driver and have the option of buying the truck. H&R you don't have the option of buying the truck ,trans X allows you to buy the truck. let me know your thoughtsTrans x also has a 29 cent fuel cap

I am sure I am going with Trans X.Everybody i talked to says don't go with H&R.I talked to both companies and felt more comfortable talking to Trans X.The H&R recruiter didn't seem to give a #### I think he was getting a blowjob as were talking on the phone

In the early 70's I was the Gen. Mgr. On Michetti Pipe Stringing owned by Louie Tolaini, Benny Michetti and Barry Talbot.

Benny used to be with PeBen, Barry owned Mid Canada Cummins and now owns Freightlinert Manitoba and Lou of course owns transX group of companies.

I personally don't like Lou but I can say without a doubt is that he's one of the smartest truckers in the country. He owns it all "lock, stock and barrel". No partners or public companies. He does know how to make money.

    ROBERTO Thanks this.

...It is a "wet lease" that means all repairs on the truck from washer fluid to tires are all paid for. It's like a paclease or penske rental.so when everything is paid for including insurance fuel etc..you are left with aprox 71cents/mile. Whats the rate per mile before this so called WET LEASE is deducted.
