I managed to get on here again, been pretty busy. I wish I was getting those 1400 mile loads. It seems they like to give me these 600 mile each day loads, a pain in the butt in a truck that only does 61.5 and been running like crap. I am in Iowa right now with a 4 stop about 50 miles from the first stop till morning. I parked here at the pilot and was on the phone with my wife when the driver next to me decided to take my bumper off, I pushed the button on the drive cam after blowing the air horn until he stopped. glad I didn't go jump in the shower right away or he probably would have left. Funny thing, the only thing I have managed to find that will trigger the drive cam is a perfectly smooth road with no other traffic on it. I hope all the other newbies to TransAm are doing well. Oh yeah, as far as what to pack for orientation. If they are students, as little as necessary, these kw's have so little storage it is unreal. I so miss the freightshakers, in my opinion they are far superior trucks these days. I think it is funny that they claim that that new paccar mx motor will get 9+ mpg, yeah right maybe bobtail.

Doing fine, pattyj. Husband is home for a reset so it's been laundry day and cooking for me! How are you? I was thinking of you, also. I guess I am going to have to start taking roll call on here. LOL How is your work going? And did the boyfriend get all moved into his new place?

 

llsnemesis, I am glad to see you on here and hear from you ....but so sorry about what just happened!!! Pete had a similar experience not very long ago in Joplin, and Husband had the same thing happen in Texas when he was out with a trainer. How bad is it? Can you drive it? Will you be able to make your deliveries? Husband is sitting here and he says to ask if you called the police? He said TransAm always wants a police report on file for the insurance....or they did when he drove for them.
Those shorter runs were always aggravating for Husband too ....but many times he did pretty well on total miles with the shorter runs. I am sure you will have some of the longer hauls also. Hang in there and don't get discouraged.

 

joey I only know Celedons stock symbols I have not paid attention to the market in quite some time. I used to read IBD, Wallstreet Journal and the Times everyday but that was when the internet wasn't as big as it is now. Now you have so much information available the boiler rooms I learned in don't really exist and that is a good thing. I tried to be legit after I got my series 7 but that is not easy for an uneducated guy like myself to do as real legit firms don't want you and the ones that do rip you off plus I didnt like if I made a wrong call and lost some one their money. I love this industry and wish I had found it sooner in my life but everything happens for a reason. If I invest it is on a D.R.I.P. and I don't care what it does cause I love the company, like Disney or GE or JNJ cause they are strong will be around a very long time but it is a very slow method and takes years, very conservative I know but the market does what the rich want it to do and I aint rich so I just try to be safe

 

hometimequeen I think he said it is either lease or go home no more company but I will talk to him and see if I can get him to post. I do not want to spread panick so I will say I am NOT SURE so when anyone reads this I am not saying anything is definative or in written in stone. I am new with no sources in this company so I do not now much except my own short history. Those last comments arent for you hometime but to people who might panick reading that first line. Jeez my spelling is horrible tonight so much red I think my english teacher is following me. LOL
