IMHO, it's not butt-kissing at all. It's showing respect, something many folks in our country have forgotten. Show respect to anybody and you will be treated with it. And rewarded for it with loads of loads!

Agree ! It is also called buying groceries for home and keeping mamma, and the kids happy. Nice post, and be safe.

My friend drives for Trans Am and the Qualcomm doesn't announce turn-by-turn to the best of my knowledge, certainly nothing like a GPS you'd mount up on the dash. It looks like one of their older, simpler, pre-touchscreen types.

My god I haven't heard so much bull. You have much to learn jesse. You keep on with Tran Am,and I'll keep on telling the real truth about Trans Am.There are alot more negative on this forum about Trans Am than what you have to say.You need a promotion maybe you should talk to them about that, you seem to be smarter than any other driver for them.

I can agree with Jessejames, Trans Am is not so much a bad company, there is the problems here and there but thats with every company. You can fix stupid, A smart man learns from his mistakes, A wise man learns from others. Most not all the guys that trash talk Trans Am are the ones who bad mouth disbatchers, dont trip plan right, dont work hard period. the lease drivers who complain about no miles or no money might do the same but also run there trucks at 75, Trans am only pays about 1.35 a mile with FSC included so if you waste all you money on fuel of course you are not going to make money. One things Trans am does need to do is educate drivers after a year of being on with the company is to lease if the driver wants to, leasing a truck out of school with no idea of what trucking is, is automatic failer.

We have Trans Am coming to talk to our CDL class this week. From what I read, they try to push you towards a lease, if you go with them and you don’t lease, do you get miles, or do you get starved out?

Thanks in advance for any and all info.

    Hey Pan.....

How is the overall maintenance on the trucks? I ask based on TA selling their own trucks and I might be interested.

I have read some, it seems that Trans Am pushes hard for the lease program. When their rep. shows up I would like to know what to ask.

    From what I read..
It does not look like a bed of roses.. lol.
