Well duh. Didn't realize that you had to click on a video link. Did finally find it tho. Thank god I never went L/O!!!!!

Good idea, BUT: You all know what happens when I put a BUT in my posts! LOL
Next video you make have a script to follow and do something with that darn audio! That clicking almost made me turn the thing off! But do a script and read it like a news person does! It'll come off better! Even though that slow southern drawl and delivery could make them sit back and think!
SPELL CHECK!
You did good with the overlays BUT use the correct word! like...
There : go over some where like "Hey go over THERE to get ripped off!
Their: Is a NOUN! It is THEIR truck or that's their name on the door or that's their terminal.
They're: they are: they are a BFI company. They are complete fools to treat people like they are idiots! I know I drove for the moron!
Your: that is your opinion that is your truck, that is your logbook
you're: you are: You are taking a risk doing this video. you are pretty gutsy doing this video, you are trying to help thousand of drivers doing this video
These are the 2 most misused words out there! I know you didn't use Your or yours or you're but i pit it in there for just in case and maybe others will see this and well yes I am part of the spelling police but it doesn't hurt to learn something forgotten from 3rd grade! LOL
Please check that spelling and get this video up to a better quality. It's not bad but it could be better! I did radio for a while and unless you're real good free styling then a script is better. Print the script in a large font. Have someone behind the camera changing the pages as you go along OR have it on your word processor on screen and just scroll it down as you go.
I gave up half way through the recorded call as the shots of the paper work were, to be nice, not good!
I did post the link on my facebook page but to tell the truth I hope it doesn't embarrass us drivers to much. I applaud your attempts to bring ole Johnny down. Yes he is a ripoff and TA has won my Rollovers BFI Award! Heck he had it from me when I drove for them and actually quit 1 (ONE) whole week before my 1 year was up! I gave up a vacation and bonus pay to go back to my old company!
I just could NOT drive for free the way I was as a company driver! I can't tell you how much that moron company could have ripped me off for because I had a computer and scanner/printer in the truck and had been keeping copies of all my paper work! When the idiots in the office would tell me when I called in about missing pay or receipts and the first thing out of those lying mouths was "it wasn't in the trip pack" I'd first tell them BS and then tell them it was being emailed to them as they learned that I didn't do faxes because they tried to tell me it was MY fault that a BOL or receipt committed suicide by jumping out of the pak and I would have to pay for the fax, an OUTDATED expensive way to do business! That's so stupid it's not funny, fax! Any company using FAX is so behind the times they're shedding scales as they walk, NOT to mention the amount of money they are throwing out the window on the costs of the machines, the dedicated line, the freaking paper AND the transmitting costs from a stupid truck stop! ROFLMFAO! I thought they had a few college grads in that office? They tried to argue that they didn't have email and I told them that they did as they used it with my "on line application!" They even had an Internet connection in the drivers room upstairs!
I do my paperwork the same way every time! You Rookies read and remember! Murphy's Law says paperwork WILL disappear if you don't follow these simple rules!
It goes into the envelope as soon as it's written on my trip sheets or whatever paperwork a company requires and that is done AS SOON as I get in the truck!
It never is put on the dash, in my pocket, on the floor or the bunk in an overhead pocket over the sun visor or in the dogs mouth or any place the wind could pick it up and send it on it's merry way across a parking lot or interstate!
Straight into the trip pack and into the logbook cover!
I do NOT work for free and I told them that when I wrote them a registered letter to back up my standing in the freaking little window in the foyer of the building ranting at them about missing paper work!
Anyway, it's a great attempt but clean it up a tad! Make it look better with a closer closeup of you and get the documentation looking better! If you want it proofread and checked for quality send it to me! I'll be glad to help you yank a carpet out from under one lease company so the others get the hint to clean up their acts! And I do not want my name in the credits! It's a favor! -
oh, just a mention on the videos, at the bottom of the video box, you will see an 'embed' button, click on that and it will give you the embed code, just copy and paste it into the field so you can embed it in here and blogs and stuff like that. I do it with a blog I co-own.
