I am going to work for Transam as an independant contractor. Can anyone give me any hints as to be successful with this endeavor and bring as much money as I can to the house every week. I would love to here from some people that paid off their lease and how they did it.

Watch your fueling, baby your fuel economy and if youre not getting the miles you need then stay on your dispatcher. If I have a problem I make sure it gets solved. I dont whine and complain and bash the company. I do my job and they do what they need to for me.

I agree with jjfighter. There are plenty of people in the company doing well with the lease. Im not saying its always perfect, but the program isnt a total bust. I am doing fine, my fiance did fine, my coach is doing fine. I have talked to other drivers in the company who are happ with their lease. There are also plenty who are not, but you really have to look at the numbers to see why that person is not doing well. Heck, when I was in the terminal on Friday transferring my lease to my new truck, there was a guy there who had just finished a term lease and purchased a truck. Sounds like a happy driver to me.
