I've been living in Tennessee for 3 years but have had my Arkansas CDL for all 3 years because i couldn't prove i was a resident in Tennessee... up to 3 months ago i was just parking my truck at my mother in law's house and sleeping in it a night, i finally have a house and can prove I'm a resident according to Tennessee requirements (2 utility bills according to roan county DMV)... any way my question is.

When i transfer my CDL from AR to TN will my Endorsements Carry over? does anyone know i don't have the number to the DMV so i wont be able to find out until the week of the 4th of July... if anyone knows if my Endorsements will carry over to TN please let me know

To my knowledge (questionable), all you endorsements EXCEPT Hazmat. But if you have your letter from DHS, I think you just have to retake the written test and pay the fee. Good luck to you, and glad to here you have your own place.

hazmat should not be a problem either your record is checked nation wide before you get it. They may tell you that it needs to be renewed since it is so close to expiring.

im not too worried about my hazmat being close to expiring (however i may be wrong because it was never Explained to me)

But i thought that my Hazmat expired when the CDL expired... i mean that makes since to me and no one has said any different only other time line i have heard about hazmat is that you need retraining every 2 years at your company, but as far as the endorsement goes i thought it expired in 2010 when my CDL expired...

If Im wrong please let me know if I am Wrong... My position with wal-mart requires a Valid Hazmat...
