Roehl has trip sheets with a barcode and only use transflo system. Flying J, Pilot, and loves have it. Cannot use systems at petro or T/A. There are some mom n pop places scattered too.

Is it really an epidemic to find a transflo location? I pass tons of them everyday.

Not really, certain areas are hard though. New England is pretty devoid, and if you live there then often you have to just fax it in on home trip, or wait until you launch to scan it. Depends on how bad you want that trip in to get paid. I don't own a fax machine, so when I lived up there it would cost a few dollars to fax at staples or wherever. Depends on Bol and how many pages.

This morning I downloaded the Transflo Now app for PCs from the link I provided earlier, and installed it. When you start it up the first time it asks for the Fleet Code of the trucking firm you work for. I put in the four-letter code that's on our trip sheets (the one that Transflo scanners in truck stops would use), and it unfortunately said that fleet code isn't signed up for Transflo Now at this time. I'll have to call payroll sometime and ask if they're perhaps signed up under a different fleet code, but right now it looks like Roehl isn't hooked up to allow this.

Yeah as convenient as it would be for drivers not all companies want to pay the extra price for using the other services besides truck stop scanners.

I could understand that...except it said on the download site that the cost is identical to what the company pays for use of truck stop scanners.

Once you get used to it, finding a Transflo scanner isn't too hard. To be sure, just go to either a Pilot, Flying J, or Loves. You won't see the scanner in most Loves locations because the cashiers actually do the scanning for you. All you have to do is give the paperwork to the cashier and they will do it for you. As of right now, TA does not have Transflo so we can't scan paperwork at TA's. Until we get scanners in our trucks, hopefully this will help.

It is different code then on the sheets. TransAm code is totaly diffrent than the one on the sheets. I used the app all the time.

OK, thanks. I'll try contacting someone in payroll or IT to see if Roehl has it enabled and what the code might be.
