Transflo in-cab scanning, and new iphone scanning

started doing the IN CAB the first week the company started letting us.... love it.
last week we had 30 min to get everything scanned in to make payroll after we del our load BUT it was 15 miles to the truckstop so i don't know if we would have made it or not but doing it IN CAB i was still sitting at the dock and i sent it...

just don't spend the money on a transflo scanner when a $50-60 all in one from walmart works fine.

 

I picked up on the app at the app store and was chomping at the bit to use it. Carrier I am with is on Transflo and I have scanned stuff and sent it from home for a few years. But they will not establish account for the iPhone app. What a crock!

 

our company stopped allowing the phone pic-scanning type submissions. the few who used it did not take the time to make sure the pics were legible. so they ruined it for all the rest.

I have tried the scan on my new iphone six plus and was just not able to get the quality scan I was looking for, Transflo I always thought had outstanding scans, that is what I have always liked about Transflo. I was just not able to get the quality with the Iphone, I am now trying to figure out what to buy in the way of a portable scanner.

 

My reply was back in 2011. Now the apps are much better and the tools to sharpen and correct the image are much better.
Transflo app is now allowed.

People like to dig up old post for some reason.
We went from Trippak Envelopes to being able to 'Scan' using the Transflo App.
I have scanned all but one or two Trips with the App since we were allowed to use it.

I have not had any complaints from Payroll. I really like it, helps out my pay at times.
Like if I drop a long run on the last day to get in Paperwork.

 

Or going home instead of going out of my way to a truck stop to scan that last trip! Then just scanning it while in my comfy chair!

i use the app on my android phone and tablet and it works find.... i like the tablet better because i can see it better
if you have a laptop just download the software and any portable (you can find them for under $50 if you look) usb sacnner will work.... i use a net scanner... it's pricey (about $150 on sale) but the software that comes withit make life so nice for my bookkeeper, i just scan everything each night then at the end of the year i just copy everything to a flash drive and give it to my book keeper

 

i just use my $50 printer scanner i bought from walmart 4 years ago. along with my laptop and the printer software.

scans are better quality then my phone will ever do. i don't have to listen to the office complain.
