Depends on how you look at it, been there for 16 1/2 years, so go where? like any other outfit is different? Say they are, they aint! Everyone #######, part of the occupation. -
I would really ask yourself if OTR is what you want versus local. I did OTR for 4 solid years as a Company driver. Im sure folks here will disagree however, i consider OTR a lifestyle, not a job. with a job, go to work, finish your shift and go home and leave it behind you. Cant really do that when you are driving and living in the same vehicle. If you dont mind a home/personal life then i guess OTR is fine. I hope you can find another local GiG. -

the big thing at nm is the miles and stops, in some ways it works out, in alot more ways it dont. and with ken wallace runing the show he would rather it dont. i did local, chicago u name it i did what they asked and im im no slouch i work but it never worked out in my favor, unless local dispatch dave would let me drop and hook, but he got told not to give me local work after a run by who? oh you bet Mr wallace himself. how can a company set a pay scale and then put a limit on how much you can do?
