Oh dang... Yea is tough riding with someone else... From here to Syracuse is a pretty penny with a rental. I'd just wait to get back to the terminal

Why did you leave the oilfield? Im currently working in the patch and have no desire to go otr, money just isnt in otr anymore. Whenever i decide to get out of the patch im going back to slinging cases of food or LTL. Id hate life if i was otr also. I've been away from home almost a month now by choice but i get to go back to my hotel room after my shift is over. If i could make 275-400 a day otr i might consider it.....

I got laid off. I was in San Angelo/Big lake area and it was dead in the beginning of 2015... So I went back home and decided to hit the road to get more suitable experience. I'm coming up on my 2 years otr plus becoming 25 now I have the world on my hands when it comes to trucking jobs (clean record). I'm thinking of trying something else other than trucking. For the most part I can always come back to it later, but trying another work avenue, as I get older becomes more slim.... Plus I've packed a few so I want to be home to have some sort of accountability partner so I can get back on track.

Its picking back up again but yea i see your point. Im only 23 myself I've considered other avenue's myself but just not sure what else will pay me 1600+ a week without a college education, plus i grew up around trucks so its kinda in my blood
