Transmission choice?

7.3 is best diesel and maybe best engine ever put in pickup.

 

correction on my part. a BUILT auto transmission will do just fine yea.

I agree completely.both my dodges the motors were excellent,but the rest of the truck leaved something to be desired.For the life of me I couldnt understand why dodge would put in a great motor like the cummins and not build the rest of the truck right.My first cummins had 337,000 on the clock and my second cummins had 384,00.Both motors ran great but it seemed the rest of the parts kept going out over and over again.I dig the powerstrokes too btw.Love the way they whistle!
