Transmission. High to low range selecting problem.

    It's FRO-15210C . Sometime when range selector goes from high to low there is no clicking. Sometime it takes 3-4 second you can hear click. Few times it got stock in the middle and driver could not move the truck. From low to high it goes fast and smooth. Shifter knob was replaced but problem still exist. What do you think ? Time for new synchro ? I checked and no air leak found on transmission. Looks like no air leak inside(no noise from inside). TIA

    I had a problem where it would not go into HI range. Ended up replacing the sifter and clearing the air lines running to the gear box. Been working great ever since.

    I've had a truck stay in high range no matter what because of an air leak.
