If that’s the case, then why are you so for broker transparency?
I think you just showed what everyone has been saying to you.
You should know already what you need to move the load. If you don’t, that’s on you.
If they want to move it cheaper, that’s on them.
    This ain’t rocket science.

They want equal results for everyone, but not equal effort.
You know what that sounds like.

My preference is open and transparent but ultimately it doesn't matter.

When I speak to a broker and he says $1000 is all he has in the load and I see another broker has same load posted for $1500 it's kinda messed up. Again none of this really matters.

If a broker is making $1 on a load or $10,000 it really doesn't matter. As long as trucks are out here willing to haul for peanuts the rest of us are put in a more difficult position.
Doesn't matter if it be a broker or direct shipper.
Too many trucks hauling for cheap is the real challenge.

Those who piss me off the most on this forum are the presumptuous, newly arrived members, who throw their judgmental, clishe-ish statements left and right because they are unable to take part in a specific meritum of the discussion - which you are incapable of at least so far.
Yeah, I was a company driver for 12 years and then bought a truck and till this day, 9 years, live off of it - my own way - successfully. So for someone like you, a internet character, to show up a few months ago, with so far little to show for, and throw statements of belittling, if not insulating character, cannot be met without a due repost.

But you don't know that both brokers are being paid the same, There are lowball brokers just like lowball trucks

I just did a search for threads on this forum with “transparency” in the title. Before this thread the last ones were in 2020. It appears transparency wasn’t an issue in 2021 or most of 2022. I’m not a bright guy but I have an idea why that is.

My other post wasn’t wrong either. It’s always some guy with a clapped out old truck and a retired Schneider van whining about transparency. And evil brokers and no money in trucking and ELD’s and we should strike.

Common man you know they was making the big bucks and had to buy all the toys. They was to busy playing on those toys to be on the internet. Now they had to give the toys back or sell them and they only have the internet left to cry. HA HA

Maybe so, but after seeing your cynical 'Warren Buffet" reply, I thought that you were somewhat touched by my previous rude reply to you. So, out of politeness, if nothing else, I thought that you deserved to know what my rudeness was caused by.
