As of this week I'm no longer with Transport America, I do know they will not report anything unless you have done something. Leave it to judgement with any safety person from any company, and you will lose. They do have a process where you can refute the claim which most company's don't offer. Over all, it is a great place place to start out at for a new driver!Stars Shine Thanks this.

after 60 days and any one 10 and up -
My husband has 3 months experience, so far. He's looking at switching to Transport America. By the time he gets home again, he'll have his 4 months experience. The problem we're running into is we're both impatient. Do you know how long would it be before I would be able to ride with him? I do not have a CDL, nor do I plan to get it.
I read that you were getting 2000 mi/wk? Is that fairly common? Are the tractors equipped with APUs? Do you scan your paperwork in at truckstops? Does TA use elogs? How are the benefits?
I've read a few things where people have had bad experiences. Have you had any you wouldn't mind sharing? One of the things I've read is that they will put you in a crappy tractor to start with. Is this true? My husband has had bad experiences with his current tractor and the last thing we need is him being put in another tractor that needs to be in the shop every other week. -
