    (My translation)

    Beware of Transport America!

They will treat you like you're an owner / operator when it comes to pay. You will only get mileage pay, no detention, no lay over, no truck break down pay.

You can bet that they will cheat you out of anything extra. You will get just mileage, and very little of that. Transport America wants you to live in the truck and never go home. They will have you sit at some truck stop for the weekend when there is no freight instead of making an effort to get you close to home.

They take care of their owner operators before their company drivers!

(His post made sense to me)

Writing skills tend to be lacking in many of our fellow drivers. Fortunately writing skills are not required to drive a truck.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons we are considered "unskilled laborers?"

Hey...just in case...you might contact the Obama Administration, they are going to be needing a "trucker translator" when the CSA 2010 gets rolling officially in July!:biggrin_25523:

    trucker43 Thanks this.

Very possible. This guy manages to come off as an illiterate hayseed and that tends to immediately call ones credibility into question.

Maybe we should get some translators out here to decipher what some of these guys are saying on the CB too...
The combination of No teeth, Limited language skills and too much echo is makin' some of these guys very hard to understand!

Of course, Once you figure out what they're talking about, You wonder why you bothered in the first place!:biggrin_25523:

HAHA that's funny. The best are the punjabs trying to convey a "very important" message across the good ole 19.
