Well, pnut from ACT hasn't been on here since Aug. I guess ACT didn't work out either. I'd still like to hear from current TDC drivers. I've only worked for one other outfit that had me home every weekend. That was Gray out of waterloo,IA. That was 3000mi every 5 days. Realistically, you can't expect a lot of miles in a 5 day week if the company has committed to having you home every weekend, compared to home "weekly". Finding that happy medium between OTR and local is no easy task.

 

Hi Richieryan: I've got an applic. in w/ TDC but don't think they'll hire due to slander from 2nd to last job. If I work for them, I'll let you know some facts and answer quests. You might want to check w/ Dan Cline in Mt. Vernon, Mo to see if they can get you home most weekends. I've found that you're right about it being hard to get many miles/week with home weekend companies as I've worked for 3 of them.

 

I'm still hoping to hear from current drivers. I'm fine with home "weekly", but need better pay rate.

 

Just completed 11 months here at tdc. Was a slow go first couple months untill you show how you can run. But if your late for loads for no reason they will not forget it. Thats what happened to my uncle. Ive gotten every fuel bonus and safety bonus since i started. Average take home has been $693 after taxes not including bonuses.

 

I appreciate the info. What are you getting for miles and hometime?
